Hello & Welcome

Thank you for your interest in our garden club!  We are located in Hampden, Maine.  Whether you live in Hampden, or in a town close by, our group is a wonderful way to become involved in a lovely community nestled next to the Penobscot River.  You do not need to be a gardener, or have a garden of your own to join our group.  Many of us are simply nature enthusiasts.  Every member is at a different skill level, from novice to advanced, and happy to help and share experiences.

News & Events

The Hampden Garden Club was honored with the 2026 Spirit of America award. 
​The award resolution states: A community is made from what the citizens value, and the Hampden Garden Club exemplifies service leadership to the Town of Hampden. The Spirit of America Foundation Tribute honors those with exemplary volunteerism.
Hampden Fall Festival
We will be at the Hampden Fall Festival again this year with hand painted pumpkins and homemade treats.  Stop by and visit us.

Hampden Garden Club's Famous Pies are making a comeback!
We will be selling homemade pies and offering gift basket raffles at the Hampden Holiday Market hosted by the Hampden Recreation Department.

Harmony Hall

The Hampden Garden Club owns and maintains this beautiful building that is on the National Register of Historic Places and has one of the only 134 surviving Revere Foundry bells.
